The Productive Series: Releasing time to care™
- is a programme originally developed by the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement to help front-line staff spend more time on patient care, reduce waste and
improve efficiency. The Productive Series programmes have already been adopted by a high percentage of organisations and front line teams are using the tools and methodology to improve care, increase the time spent with patients, deliver process efficiencies and financial savings.

A partnership in e-learning
The NHS Improving Quality has established a joint venture with the award winning Virtual College to contribute to the revolution in healthcare training by providing quality assured on-line training content for the healthcare professional. For more information click here.
From 1 April 2013 NHS Improving Quality became the single national improvement body working with the NHS to help meet the challenges of delivering high quality healthcare. Virtual College will continue to provide monthly learner evaluations to NHS Improving Quality's Delivery Team. There is on-going discussion for a new NHS partner to continue to quality assure learning delivery and provide on-going clinical leadership.
Virtual College has committed to continuing to make e-Productives available to the NHS for at least two years from March 2013.
Progress at your own speed
The e-Productives suite contains easy to follow interactive on-line content and is designed for staff, team leaders, programme managers and leaders to learn about the Productive programmes at a pace and location to suit their needs. Programmes are City & Guilds accredited and successful completion of each programme contributes towards Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points.
