The NHS Improving Quality (NHS IQ) is the driving force for improvement across the NHS in England. It brings together the wealth of knowledge, expertise and experience from across the NHS, establishing a new vision and re-shaping the healthcare improvement landscape.
As part of NHS England, NHS IQ is creating for the first time an improvement organisation that is in alignment with the needs and challenges of the NHS. NHS IQ’s priorities are aligned to the five domains of the NHS Outcomes Framework.
E-Learning, a partnership
NHS Improving Quality and Virtual College have combined their expertise to create a jointly owned e-Learning suite to support The Productive Series programme.
The aim of the joint venture is to rapidly establish a capability for NHS Improving Quality to provide a structured virtual learning environment readily available to support the Productive Series Programmes.
Using the technology and platform provided by Virtual College and the content for the courses from NHS Improving Quality, we are providing a comprehensive and scalable supporting service to deliver training in an efficient and low cost way both to individuals and organisations.
The programme incorporates a clear curriculum for innovation and improvement in the NHS, using content from the NHS Improving Quality’s Productive Series experts, together with valued accreditation and potential for professional development to the highest standards.
